Coaters and Coating Lines
Doel Engineering Limited have many years experience in the design and manufacture of specialist coaters.
We can design and manufacture complete coating lines to each customers individual specifications for aqueous and solvent coating using most known coating techniques including:
• Reverse Roll
• Gravure
• Doctor
• Meyer Bar
• Slot
• Cascade (metering).
We offer drying by air impingement with roller transport or flotation, and sequential control of temperature and humidity.
We also offer complete test / laboratory coating units with programmable drying.
Sample coating simulating continuous conditions can be achieved where production coating speeds are to be investigated.
All equipment to upgrade existing production coaters can be provided, including:
• simple or turnover unwind stands
• rewind stands
• automatic joiners for zero speed butt splicing
• accumulators
• coating heads
• flame proof drives
We can retro-fit systems capable of web widths up to 2000mm and speeds up to 150 metres per minute.
